Where do the playlists come from?

Songuesser offers blind tests using public playlists available on Apple Music and Deezer, as well as hand-picked playlists by the Songuesser team. The app does not import your personal playlists or library — it provides access to the public catalog of these platforms.

A playlist won't load or remains empty

• Check that the service (Apple Music or Deezer) is still marked "Connected" in the Account tab.
• Some tracks do not have an available listening excerpt from the platform — they are automatically filtered, which may reduce the number of playable tracks.
• Try disconnecting and then reconnecting the service in question.

How do I disconnect a service?

From the Account tab, tap "Disconnect" next to the service in question. This does not affect your Apple Music or Deezer account itself — only the connection to Songuesser is removed.

The game

What's the difference between Expert, Classic, and Relaxed modes?

They only change the time given to guess each song: 10 seconds in Expert, 15 in Classic, 20 in Relaxed. Choose the one that matches your skill level or that of your friends.

I hear no sound

• Check that your iPhone is not in silent mode (switch on the side) and that the volume is turned up.
• Some tracks do not have an audio excerpt available; they are automatically skipped.

Can I play with multiple people on the same phone?

Yes — Songuesser is designed to be passed around among friends, with everyone guessing aloud during the excerpt.

Premium & purchases

How do I unlock premium playlists?

Two options: unlock a premium playlist individually (€0.99, one-time purchase valid for that playlist), or subscribe to Songuesser Premium (€2.99 per month) to access all premium playlists — current and future — and remove ads.

How does the Songuesser Premium subscription work?

The subscription is monthly at €2.99, automatically renewed unless you cancel it. You can manage or cancel it at any time from Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the already paid period.

I changed phones, how do I recover my purchases?

From the Premium screen, tap "Restore Purchase" by logging in with the same Apple ID you used for the initial purchase. Individually unlocked playlists and your Premium subscription are automatically restored.

A refund?

Purchases and subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple. For a refund request, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

Privacy & advertising

Songuesser displays ads for users who do not have Songuesser Premium, and asks for your consent on first launch in accordance with GDPR. Full details of the data processed are available on our privacy page.
