What we do not collect

Songuesser never asks you to create an account, password, or provide payment information. Purchases and the Premium subscription are managed entirely by Apple via the App Store; we do not have access to any banking information.

Data we process

Connection to Apple Music or Deezer

Songuesser provides access to public playlists available on Apple Music and Deezer — the app does not import your personal playlists or library. If a connection to one of these services is required to access them, the identifiers (access tokens) are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

Songuesser Playlists

Playlists selected by the Songuesser team (titles, artists, cover art) are hosted on our backend and served to the app. This access does not require an account or any personal information from you.

Game Center

If you enable Game Center, your game statistics are managed directly by Apple according to its own privacy policy.

Advertising identifier

If you do not have a Songuesser Premium subscription, the app displays advertisements via Google AdMob. With your consent (see below), your advertising identifier is used to display relevant ads and measure their effectiveness. This information is transmitted to the following domains: googlesyndication.com, doubleclick.net, googleadservices.com, google-analytics.com, googletagmanager.com, googleapis.com.

This identifier is never associated with your name, email address, or playlists.

Your consent

Upon first launch (especially if you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom), Songuesser displays a GDPR-compliant consent banner via the Google User Messaging Platform. You can accept or refuse ad tracking there. On iOS, tracking via your advertising identifier also requires your explicit permission via App Tracking Transparency — you can modify it at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Purchases & subscription

Songuesser offers the unlocking of premium playlists individually (€0.99 each) as well as a Songuesser Premium subscription (€2.99 per month, auto-renewing) giving access to all premium playlists and removing advertisements. These transactions are processed exclusively by Apple; we do not see or store any payment data. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple ID settings.

Data sharing

We do not sell any data. The only data shared with third parties is that necessary for the operation of the services you choose to use: Google AdMob for advertising, and Apple Music / Deezer for access to public playlists, each according to your consent.

Your rights

In accordance with GDPR, you can at any time request access, rectification, or deletion of your data by writing to contact@frontfuyant.fr. As we do not keep user accounts, most of your data (platform connections, game preferences) can be deleted directly by uninstalling the app.
